There was a tornado watch and a thunder storm warning overnight and into this morning. The double red flag on the beach means that swimming is not allowed. So, unfortunately, no swimming for us today!
The winds were very, very strong and the waves were massive.
There was a water “mist” in the air and we could barely see the pier from the our beach.
The day was pretty bleak, but at sunset the sky suddenly got bright and I got some pretty neat photos. In the picture above: I wasn’t even trying to get the sea gulls in the photo-they just flew into the scene as the shutter clicked.
