We’ve been waking up in the morning to find the trash from the trashcans all over the yard. Benjamin setup a trap outside near the trash cans to catch the culprit which was most likely a masked bandit. This morning we (or actually Lydia) found this raccoon in the trap:

We had a female one in our yard some time ago in the spring but she went away. We were kind of sad as we think she had made a nest in a tree.
I am glad you had a good 4th of July.
Thank you for all the movies you put up.
Will you be taking the lessons again in the fall? we might.
Thanks for commenting.
We'll definitely be attending the dancing lessons this fall if it is humanly possible. :)
We also plan on going to the Christmas ball and the lessons next spring for next year's scottish/colonial ball.
We have a bat in our garden... pests, pests, pests... It is about 3 in long. I don't know what it's wing span is.
I hope we can go to all the lessons as they are so much fun. I have a scottish dress which I wil wear next year but I may wear my colonial ball gown to the ball.
Lydia I love bats and have not seen them in a while. My brother saw a flying squirrle in the spring.
Andrew thankyou for keeping youblog fun!!
