We hit the road this afternoon with the Haguewood family for a trip to Cincinnati and the Creation Museum. After our stay, our family would drive on to North Carolina for the NCFIC Conference later that week (post coming soon!)
Benjamin was my buddy for the first leg of the trip
As you can see in this picture, we had the FUN vehicle,
while everyone else was in the hum-drumvee.
Among other things, we may have had a Frozen sing-along….which thankfully isn’t on video – I wish!
The van was really full, so Ben had to ride up here for most of the drive.
Trying to order some coffee at a Dunkin’ Donuts…we sat here for several minutes before we realize that it was closed – definitely made for some good laughs.
The house that we were staying in was absolutely amazing and really exceed my expectations

Good morning! There’s nothing like starting your day with some coffee!
There were a load of very unflattering early-morning photos on my camera, but out of respect for others – including those of you reading this – I’m only posting a photo of yours truly. :)
I think that I got an average of 4 hours of sleep each night.

Great times of casual conversation
The house was located on a very isolated 12 acres, so we took several walks and hikes during our stay. We took a final hike up this hill just a few minutes before we parted ways and the Haguewoods headed home while we drove on to North Carolina.
