North Carolina

After driving all day we finally made it here at Asheville, NC.
We met up with the other folks from church and some of us boys went on a hike to burn off some excess energy.
We hiked up 540ft on a mile-long trail to Royal Gorge Point. On the way we saw an owl and a cicada. No bears yet :).

Heading to Cincinnati…

A couple of weeks ago we took a trip with some of our family to visit the Creation Museum!  We had a fantastic trip, had a great time hanging out with my awesome aunts, uncles and cousins and it was a great opportunity to learn at the Creation Museum.

 

 

 

We were thankful to not have to bring our van, my uncles offered to let us ride in their cars.

2nd Day of the Drive Down to Florida

 

On the drive down to the ocean we happened to pass through Laverne, AL the “Friendliest City in the South.”

There’s a large Pepsi bottling factory in Luverne and that’s why the Pepsi symbol is on the town sign.

After we left Luverne and got onto the right highway we continued listening to, “Bud & Me.”

We finally entered Florida and started getting excited about seeing the ocean.

Riding in a '27 Roadster

Our neighbor just finished building his '27 Ford Roaster and he gave Noah and I up and down the street.

Oh, and before you lose all confidence in my Mom for letting us go joy riding, Mr. Kausch has been trained on handling powerful cars and has driven 250mph on a race track.

September 18-Traveling to Branson

We packed up last night and got on the road before noon. We had a nice drive down to Branson and picked up some food that we ate at the condo. We had made a meal schedule and a grocery list and picked up the food for the week.
