What a fun day! We met some of our family members at a park this afternoon in part to celebrate several family birthdays. A game of baseball was started up and it was a whole lot of fun and we were exhausted by the end of the day (which just adds to the fun.) I’m sure that this day will be one of our most favorite family memories.

Andrew’s 17th Birthday
For my 17th Birthday today we ate brunch and drove over to the shooting range to shoot some trap with our shotguns. Benjamin did pretty well and we were surprised how well Noah did with his 20 gauge. However, we’re looking forward to doing more practice over the summer.
Correction: The video title says that we’re shooting “skeet,” but we’re actually just shooting “trap” because the clay pigeon comes from in front of you and flies away from you.

From April 7 to April 14 you can search your family records from 150 years ago for free on the Ancestry.com website. I’m sure I’ll be spending a few days this week searching through the Civil War records and broadening our family tree.

Serving @ CHEF Ladies’ Tea
We went to the CHEF Ladies’ Tea last Wednesday because we heard that they needed servers. There ended up being about a dozen boys to help serve which was more than enough, but we had a good time talking with them during the downtime.
Noah after the tea…
…Benjamin and I after the tea. Where did Noah go?
Believe it or not but the guy with the towel DOING THE DISHES is ME!
After cleaning up the guys started playing “Quarters.”
At this point in the game none of us had bloody knuckles.
Martha Quadrille
A video posted on YouTube by our instructor, John Ramsay. This video is of the five-part “Martha Quadrille” and we’ve learned 3 of those parts in our past two lessons.
