boy like me, Man Like You - 20,000 Views

Well, I thought I ‘d repost this video we made from more than 4 years ago.  It has 20,000 views on YouTube which really isn’t that many views for YouTube, but when we we were out in the yard filming it never would’ve entered our heads that thousands would watch it online.

Here’s what I wrote when I posted this on the blog July 25, 2007:

boy like me, Man like You is one of the very first videos we made; I was 12. This song is from Rich Mullins and is a favorite of ours. Throughout this video you'll see moving shots where the camera is "rolling." We don't own a dolly so we improvised with a wagon.
While I held the camera Benjamin pulled me around the yard. Oh the life of a cameraman!
As you'll see the ride was pretty bumpy!
(No, Noah isn't related to Rich Mullins.)

For All of Your Revolutionary Ideas…

Thought that this Microsoft Word 2010 commercial was pretty cute,  the Windows Live chatting is really great!  You’ll have to stay on your toes and read quickly to watch this video.

Martha Quadrille

.

A video posted on YouTube by our instructor, John Ramsay.  This video is of the five-part “Martha Quadrille” and we’ve learned 3 of those parts in our past two lessons.

Cyberspace Developments: Behemoth & Homeschool View Tube

My family and I have been enjoying some fairly new developments in cyberspace.
HomeSchoolViewTube.com is an excellent alternative to the highly uncensored YouTube. All of the videos are reviewed before they can be posted and I've found many of the features on the site to be superior to YouTube. You can watch our videos on HomeSchoolViewTube.com here. It's a great place for homeschoolers to share ideas via video.
We've also been enjoying the media download site, Behemoth.com. Here, you can purchase and download many helpful resources including audio books, sermons, music and movies. Items are being added daily and often, there's a teaching you can download for free! Try it out. The first purchase we made from Behemoth.com was a called "The Photographer." We decided to buy this on the recommendation of John Moore (Heumoore Productions). It is similar to an old "gangster" movie. The main characters choose to act with courage and honor despite the temptations presented to them.
