Shooting Skeet & Breathing Fire

October 26, 2014 – This afternoon we were invited for a get together at a friend’s house.

We headed to the backyard to shoot some skeet

With so many shooters, there were 2 or 3 guys going at once.  If the first guy missed, then the second one would shoot, then the third – or that’s how it worked in theory.

After shooting, some of the ladies took a ride on horseback.

Later that night, we ate dinner and cooked s’mores over the campfire and several guys showed us how to breathe fire:

We also watched the Cardinals’ 12-6 victory over the Red Sox in Game 3 of the World Series.  Even later that night, we enjoyed some dancing in the driveway.

Harvest Dance

October 10, 2013 – I’m finally writing about the Harvest Dance!  Before I begin, a HUGE thank you to the Jones family and the other families who helped make the Harvest Dance come to life.  The decorations were absolutely amazing and it was obvious that a lot of time had gone into making this event very special.

Wow, it looks like every table got its own unique table setting!

Before you got into the food line, every family got a photo taken in their western ware by Brittany.

What a great idea!

Mr. Jones walked around with the headset and had everyone introduce themselves.

After dinner…

Long Way Home
