CHEF 2012: Day 2

During one of the breaks in the conference some of the boys in skir…er…I mean Scottish garb-marched into the grand  ballroom and began to sing “Ye olde songs of bonnie Scotland” to the inspiring tones of a bagpipe.

That evening after the ball we gathered in the lobby for some more card games-which shortly thereafter grew into a violent game of spoons-or is spoons always violent?  See video below:

The evening was wrapped up at 4am or so with your typical dance in the hotel parking lot.

  The next morning we all (eventually) woke up, nearly missed breakfast, packed up our bags, checked out, and sent Benjamin on a plane heading to Las Vegas. Wow, we really must’ve needed more sleep to do a thing like that!  Read about his trip…
