Christian Home Educators Fellowship of Missouri’s
2012 Conference & Scottish Ball
(Better late than never!?!)
The photos that look nice were taken by Kate Gamel
The dark photos were taken by Andrew Wong
Just an odd picture with 3 guys looking to their left and one…whistling?
A few of us boys who were not clothed in pleated garb decided to get our own group photo. You would guess from their facial expressions you may guess some of them are concealing tommy guns.

Thank ye “HK” for captioning this photo!
“Form longway sets…”
“…and four-hands round.”
“Straighten the lines, gentlemen.”
The dancing recommences…“The heat is oppressive and the air is close…”
No, that’s not a Jane Austen line-
-It’s from Elsie Dinsmore.

Thanks for all the pictures. And I saved some of them as this evening brought back so many memories! I think this ball was great ( although the Civil war one was to)! Once again thank you for putting this post up and all the grand pictures! And dancing with me.Hops to see your family, at some event soon!
Yes! Better late than never! Anyway...I still haven't finished posting about the Conference; so you aren't the latest.
I am glad you still posted these pictures! They are great. I loved all the costumes.
Good memories...
Oh, I love these pictures! You all captured some great shots.
Unfortunately, I can't think of any humorous captions, but that is a funny picture!
I also like the one with Mrs. Thomas and Darcie laughing. :)
The one of the Hannah and Rebekah Scheffer is so pretty and sweet!
Love all the pictures. It was a great day/night.
Great post Andrew! I love the pictures... there are so many fun ones! (Especially of dancing.)
I especially like the last picture of the Sheffer girls...
Thanks for posting!
