Nathan and Ashley's Wedding

April 16, 2016 - Spring is here!  The sky is blue, the birds all sing (like they do) and in this post we're "going to the chapel" to see Nathan and Ashley (or "Nately" if you want to use their couple name for shorthand) get married.

Have you met Miss Jones?
Josiah and Brittany in their roles as usher and the maid of honor, (respectively.)

PC: Matthew Thomas

I didn't get too much in the way of photos and videos, because I had my hands full with this mic for most of the afternoon/evening.  But will lack of material prevent me from creating a blog post?  Never!

Get with the program.

Leading the parents of the bride and groom to their seats.
Why do they have to be lead?  I don't know...they're always on the front row.
#tradition!

Groomsmen and Bridesmaids:

The (Three) Githers

And here we see our first glance of the middle-earth theme set to "Concerning Hobbits" from the Fellowship of the Ring.
Disregarding their altitudinal struggles, "Concerning Hobbits" alludes to the bride and groom who had made an excellent couple as Samwise Gamgi and Rosie Cotton at a Lord of the Rings Party during their courtship.
Now, in the Fellowship of friends and families, it was time for the Exchange of the Rings before the Lord as they took on the roles of Mr. and Mrs. Mangoff.

(How I missed getting photos of some of the grooms/bridesmaids, I'll never know.
It's not like they were sneaking their way to the front of the sanctuary and weren't walking right past me.)

Though they lacked an underlying agenda, these two were the ones to initially set up a meeting between the bride and groom.

The best man and maid of honor.

- Who gives this woman to be married?

Leading the bride to partake in communion.

Praying for the soon-to-be wedded pair.

And after that five-star first kiss, it was time to introduce Mr. and Mrs. Mangoff as they embarked on Married Life.

“It's such a happiness when good people get together.”

Reception

Once again, I had my hands too full during the reception to be handling a shutter button, but you can see videos of the first dances, etc, in my previous post.
Consequently, I skip ahead and end the post with the couple's sparkler send off!
