Time for War
We had a great evening last week playing some war with our friends! We had a few great air soft battles and ended the evening with some Axis & Allies!

Which master mind won?
Well, we only had time to play like 3 rounds, so it'd be hard to say who won, but the Allies weren't doing all that great. Josiah was playing the UK and was eliminated by the 2nd turn.
Poor guy! :) Sounds like it was fun though!

Yes, it was a lot of fun. It was my first time playing Axis & Allies, so it took a couple of turns to learn the basics, but it was great to play with other people and not just myself. Josiah was UK, Jacob was USA and I was the Soviet Union. Jedidiah was Germany and Joel was Japan. Because I was Russia, everyone warned me that I would be kicked around a lot and I was also relatively poor. I attacked East Germany right off the bat and won a couple of Germany's territories. Germany did a little retaliation, but ultimately focused his entire fleet in the English Channel and shipped his massive amounts of troops in Berlin and captured the UK. The US and Japan had just mobilized its forces and Japan had landed in the Soviet Union and destroyed the Allies in a battle that included forces from all three Allied countries. It wasn't looking too good for the Allies when we stopped playing-Jedidiah was about to turn his focus over to me and would probably have captured Moscow, but the USA would also have made landfall in Europe and Asia.
