We just arrived home from attending the 2012 Covenant Keepers Conference by the Christian Home Educator’s Fellowship of Missouri. There were 7 nationally-known speakers and hundreds of families from all over the country. The messages looked back at the heritage we have from the covenants forged in the past, but cast the vision for our families in the difficult years ahead.
In many ways I think this was a landmark event in many different ways-including the fact that we probably had the highest concentration of men in kilts than anywhere else in the Midwest!
It was an enormous blessing to go to this conference and sit under the instruction of men who are so passionate for the Kingdom of God and who sacrifice their blood, sweat, and tears for the homeschooling community.

Your video should be interesting. Haha, seems from what we girls found out, or have come to the conclusion of. "Most guys wouldn't wear a kilt...But most girls would dance with a guy wearing one" haha. ^_^
The conference was amazing and the speakers were very enjoyable.
It was great seeing you all, and hanging out with you in the Lobby Monday night.

Amen, Andrew! We thoroughly enjoyed the Conference also. Can't believe it's over already! :( These past few months have just flown by!
And now we have to wait a whole 'nother year til the Family Economics/Discipleship CHEF/CHEC Conference. :(
You are correct, we are INCREDIBLY blessed to be able to sit at the feet of such strong, godly, conservative, God-honoring men of integrity... God is SO good to us!!! We truly are feasting at the Lord's banquet table!
Be blessed, my friend!
Thanks for commenting!
There is some good news:
Because the conference will be in May next year we won't have to wait a whole 'nother year-just 10 1/2 months!
Wait, that may overwhelm the Summers...you may want to keep that under your hat.
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
Wasn't the Conference wonderful!
I believe I forgot to ask you.... what were YOUR favorite speakers were this year? Or your favorite messages? I have a hard time choosing. Kevin Swanson is always so convicting and inspiring to me. I heard Morecraft for the first time and think he is a great historian/speaker! Jehle was also good! And of course, I will never tire of Mr. Phillips.
I loved this conference...it felt so FRIENDLY! As well as inspiring! (the people were friendly, and the talks inspiring!)
I don't know how I can wait....even if it's only 10 1/2 months, for another conference!
By the way....I was of the opinion that kilts were no longer such bugaboos as previously assumed! Actually, they are manly enough. (note: in the ''olden times'', women wouldn't be seen wearing such short dresses anyhow!)
I am looking forward to any videos you post!
Have a great week...and a very good Lord's Day!
